I managed to do a couple of quick pieces in Flores, which is near the Tikal ruins. I found a boarded up building on the main intersection of town. I was a bit dodgy on it but I asked some random guy before I started and he said it should be fine. The funds are running seriously low and I was still watering down the bucket of blue paint I brought in Nicaragua. I named it smurfs piss because it would only work on a plain white wall. I also had only one can for an outline that ran out of pressure with half a can of paint left in it. Within 5 minutes I had a guy with a shotgun standing behind me. I freaked out at first but walked up to talk to him. He asked all the usual questions, what does it mean, where are you from, was the paint expensive.... I was in a great position. Painting a main intersection in broad daylight with my own armed security. I asked him to pose for a flick but he wasn't interested.

I've also been in the middle of nowhere travelling like this.

And swimming here. I highly recommend Guatemala.
