Oldie

Here is an old piece from 2004. It’s old but I still really like it. It’s from a sketch I did in an old book. It was the first sketch in the book. The book ended up being filled with sketches by writers from all over Melbourne. There were some classics by Merda, Puzle, Break and a whole lot more. The book was stolen from me when it only had 4 blank pages left. I’m hoping that one day I’ll get it back. It means a lot to me.

Sirum Exhibition

Historic Graff discovered in Manhattan building

A graffiti wall with drawings by original graffiti subway artists Fab Five Freddy, Futura 2000 and some traces by Jean-Michel Basquiat was discovered in New York. The large mural, created by some of graffiti's earliest pioneers, was discovered recently in a 10-story limestone building just as developers were converting it into luxury condominiums.

Tunnel

A few weeks ago I went up to Byron Bay with my girlfriend. I managed to get a few hours painting in. I met up with Ivo and he took me to these tunnels in the middle of the jungle. It was a really cool spot but he freaked me out a bit when he kept warning me to keep an eye out for snakes. There was a lot of cool pieces in there buy other writers from NSW and QLD.

Meredith

I went to Meredith Music Festival on the weekend. I had a great time. Too much happened to go into it all. I'll sum it up with these 2 photos. My liver will never be the same.

killing time

I had an hour to kill and I was in the city with paint in my bag, so I headed down to Hosier lane and painted this. Not my greatest effort. But it was good to hang out with Pheds.



There were 3 separate couples having their wedding photos taken. It's all the rage at the moment.

ABC

I have been commissioned to paint an ABC in the same style as the letters on my exhibition flyer. I finally finished them. I eventually want to do the whole alphabet. They are 3 separate pieces. They are bigger than the original ones I did. I hope he likes them.

Santa

I saw this Santa outfit in the window of a $2 shop on Smith St. I think it might work better for halloween.

I've seen this tram a couple of times.
I haven't seen any graff on the TV commercials. But I'm glad they are
adding it to their print campaign.

Beers

This time of year I find it really hard to avoid having a beer in my hand. It was good to leave all the young writers at Write 4 Gold and head down to the beach with a few mates and carry on drinking till the sun went down. It's a hard life!
